Not to mention that something about the scenes with Claire and Shane just personally bug me, and I often feel the dialogue and gestures between all characters is unrealistic. He wants to kill as many vampires as he can, even if he gets killed in the process.
Sometimes I enjoy what’s going on but at other times I find Claire to be rather annoying and some of the choices made to be laughable. From the first book I read in this series, the thing that bothered me the most is that Rachel Cainf is a terrible writer. The introduction of Sam a vampire was very interesting because it showed that not all the vampires in this story were bad and it also gave a little insight into the mysterious world of the founding vampire Amelie.
What amazes me the most about this series is that I love it even cainr the main characters aren’t vampires, and in fact fight them. Jan 17, Shera Book Whispers rated it liked it Shelves: In fact, it seems this was Shane’s reason to return to Morganville anyway — to gather as much intelligence as possible in the eventual attack. This left me feeling a little los I don’t know what it is about this series that keeps it from being more than average for me.
What can I say about this book? Pretty much the same thoughts as with the first novel in this series. Will I read the next in the series? Looking for beautiful books?
I’m trying here, dear series.

The It’s probably worth noting that I’m slightly older than the target age for this series. The reason being is that it really read like the first one for me, which for me was also a definite 2 star read.

It worked out better here. That is no longer in my hands, and you may save caibe your breath and your hopes; I shall not stand up dramatically at the last moment as they light the pyres, and save your lover. With the exception of series based books that follow the same path but are just as good. The Dead Girls’ Dance was also very emotional.

Last Breath Rachel Caine. The writing is luring, engaging, and well-crafted enough to keep me interested from cover to cover and beyond. All I can say is that I’m just not that into it. A Million More Pages: Dande Of The Week: I’m sorry, but any series that Moderate spoilers. I want to read vampire books where fun stuff actually happens and the characters are interesting.
This book was okay, but not what I was expecting based off of the title. Amelie has revoked her protection for Shane due to the death. Which is kinda the attraction, ded It get’s old the way these two fight and make up, fight and make up. When they find out why, all hell is going to break loose.
Like being caiine genius in a school that favours beauty over brains; homicidal girls in her dorm, and finding out that her college town is overrun with the living dead. This book explained all about Shane’s past and told us the reason why his father had such a grudge against the vampires, it also revealed a gruesome fact about Michael which made me feel even more sorry for him.
It made me wonder desd does Rachel Caine fit so much it to one little book.
I found myself much more interested in secondary character Eve and her motivations than in Claire. I mean good grief. I know this is a very short review but this book was super good!!
